Practice Time:  

Practices will be held from 3:00-4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (practice is optional for 6th graders on Fridays).  If the weather prevents us from having practice or a match, an announcement will be made before 2:00 PM to notify players via Schoology, our activities website, and our activities hotline. Players can also check Schoology for updates. 

We will meet outside the pool doors after school lets out until the buses leave the parking lot.  Players cannot cross the parking lot until the buses have cleared for their safety.  A coach will walk with them up to the courts.  If your student does not attend the middle school, please have them meet us inside the school or drop them off after the buses leave.

Equipment:

Players will need a racket, tennis shoes, proper dress (especially on cold windy days), and a water bottle.  It is extremely windy on our courts, so dress in layers!!

Matches:

We will start our home matches when the opposing team arrives.  Some schools get out earlier and we want to get the boys as much playing time as possible, therefore, our matches may begin as early as 3:45 PM.

The boys will be divided up according to skill level for our matches. We will rotate players into the lineup as they improve on their level of play.  Due to our numbers, the boys will get a lot of doubles experience.

When we travel to an away match, we will bring as many boys as possible depending on the size of the opposing team.  We will be sending messages on Schoology this season and the boys will be able to communicate with us as well.
